I have been a patient of this practice for many years and for good reason! Rachel is an excellent hygienist - never rushes and always explains and issues she identifies and a treatment plan. Dr. Gordon is also an amazing dentist. Before seeing him, I was literally phobic about dental appointments. His administration of anesthetic is literally painless. I hope he never retires.

Very pleasant experience for my teeth cleaning. Everyone is so friendly and professional, and the hygienist was one of the best I've ever had! And I'm 70 years old. The only downside is the high cost of the antibiotic bead treatment that was recommended for my receding gums. It is well above the national average for that novel treatment that is not covered by insurance.

I am over the moon about Jefferson Dental Associates. I was happily greeted by the front desk which says a lot about this practice. I am always nervous about going to the dentist and especially seeing a new dentist. Dr. Nicolo could not have been nicer. His gentle approach to my situation, a cap which had broken off, and the temporary restoration were above any expectations I could imagine. He went over options with me for my return visit and made my entire time in the chair comfortable and relaxing. His assistant Kathy was the perfect compliment with her warm smile and comforting presence. This was truly an amazing experience and Dr Nicolo is my forever dentist!

Had my first appointment today. The dental care itself was very good- my dentist seemed quite knowledgable and the assistant was very friendly. However, for others considering this office, you should be aware that the first dental visit does NOT include a routine cleaning which needs to be scheduled as a second visit. This is the only dentist I am aware of that operates in such a way. There was an appointment with the hygienist available but I needed to wait around for it and ended up needing to take off additional time from work. Finally, I was a bit disheartened to observe the way the check-out receptionist treated a patient who was confused over his finances. She spoke loudly and condescendingly (hence why I heard it from the waiting room) and it seemed unnecessarily rude. If a patient cannot afford payment for the day's services, politely offer them a payment plan or options for financing. Condescendingly telling the patient "I have a hard time believing you were not told previously that you needed to pay" didn't seem right and the whole conversation was very loud when it should have been quieter as finances are a sensitive manner and it can be embarrassing for patients struggling financially. Bit disappointed in that regard.

Called and said I’d just parked my car was a few minutes late and when I arrived at the office was seen within 2 minutes brought into the room where I was examined the staff was very patient to my needs also in calming my nerves. Dr. Felipe Rola, D. M. D. takes his time explaining what is going on inside your mouth and also in describing X-ray. My tooth was badly damaged from injury and therefore Dr Rola did an extraction on the spot one which I did not need gas or medication to calm me just Novocain. I didn’t feel a thing! I strongly recommend this office and doctor based on professionalism,cleanliness staff,location and the fact overall it is a very peaceful environment where one can release some of that stress that involves going to the dentist! Happy to have found a top doc dentist in Philadelphia
